You don't really need a POS for PI. You'll need a POS for your wormhole and this will serve the basic purpose for most players doing PI. PI can be a great isk source (about 5m-10m per planet based on what you're making, quality of planets, and number of players involved extracting). Players will have 22,000m3 of space on a planet (1 silo, 1 launch pad), and 30,000m3 storage in the POCO. Youc an also always make a storage planet that will give you roughly 80,000m3 - 120,000m3 additional space). Other then that players will just need storage space from corp hangars.

This is a pretty bad idea. Unless you're doing very cheap BPO research (ammo, cheap modules, etc) you don't want to risk putting in billions of isk worth of BPO's. There is also the issue of moving these BPO's in and not of the WH. Even invention requires you have have a few hundred million isk wroth of datacores, interfaces, etc in the labs. Basically if someone were to check out your wormhole and POS and saw 5 - 10 labs its highly likely they would attack you for the shear losses you would have. Also if a lab with for example a 30 day research job is destroyed, that research slot on that character is used up until the job is completed, regardless of the BPO being destroyed (so if a character installs 10 jobs at 30 days, the all the labs are destroyed the next day you'll lose the BPO's and that character will lose 30 days of research).

Reactions may sound like a good idea, but with unknown changes happening soon in the next expansion and lots of changes in the market dealing with mon goo unless you know something others don't it could be very difficult to make descent isk with them. The biggest issue with reactions is you have a long term investment (duration of the reaction job) and hope the value of the items you're reacting does not go down, whcy they have been doing for many types. Basically it seems like there is basically a fire sale for some materials, so unless you work the market alot, and will be making trips to sell and re-buy maters weekly it might be difficult get make a profit.
